I’ve got a few updates for y’all, so I won’t keep y’all too long. I’ll try to get straight to the point. Here’s what we’ll be going over today:

The Flowered Blade Audiobook

That’s right! If you haven’t been following my social media, you’ll be delighted to know that Podium Entertainment picked up The Flowered Blade for an audiobook!

I’ve selected the voice actors for Silvyr and Brokil and I think you’re going to love them. They are in possession of the book now and working together to create something super magical. Here’s who was selected:

Silvyr will be voiced by Cody Sloan, a transmasc identifying VA. His work is incredible and his voice for Silvyr is magical.

Brokil will be voiced by Ryan H. Reid. His unique take on Brokil's voice had me quaking and I'm so excited.

While I can’t share much more than that, trust and believe that once I am able, I’ll be sharing more about this project

Ikarys the Damned Cover Reveal

We’re getting closer and closer to the Ikarys the Damned cover reveal! The incredible Yune created something absolutely stunning. Now, while I want to post the cover in the newsletter, in order to maintain a schedule, I am going to have to be selective with who I choose to share in the cover reveal.

If you’re interested in joining the Ikarys the Damned cover reveal, please click this link. It’s a good form that only needs a few clicks and social media handles from you. It’ll take 2 minutes tops! Don’t quote me on that, I didn’t time myself but it feels pretty quick to me!

If you’re selected, you’ll receive an email with access to a google drive of images with ALT text, as well as Yune’s social media handles no later than November 5th.

So What’s on the Writing Desk?

Right now, there are a variety of projects I am working on. But my priority is the rewrite of A Corruption of Souls and its sequel, A Redemption of Souls. “Beta” Readers are still working through A Corruption of Souls, but I’ve also already started rewrites just to keep myself on track. So far, it’s all going well!

I don’t have a timeline for the releases yet. The only thing I know for sure is that the rewrite of A Corruption of Souls will be released a month prior to A Redemption of Souls sometime next year, if all goes well.

It’s also important to note that once I rerelease A Corruption of Souls, it will go on KU and will be heavily discounted. I’ll also provide free epub copies to those who have already purchased paperbacks, because I don’t want y’all to have to repurchase the same book. The ebook should automatically update if you’ve purchased that.

When the time comes, I will call for ARC readers for each book, just for a little extra promo. So if you like gay knights falling in love with gay princes and Paladins who view devotion like religion, then you’ll want to keep an eye on this

Final Notes

Before I go, just a few more things

First, support and uplift the creatives in your life(this includes YOU). We are nothing without our communities. The people making art of all kinds deserve love and support for the work they put into their craft. If you focus on uplifting, you will be uplifted as well. Give good, and get good in return. It will serve you so much better than being mean and nasty towards other creatives.
